The Challenge

Prior to adopting Henri, Millennium lacked resident-facing technology for engagement, maintenance, operations, and digital rent collection. For decades, the company relied on manual, paper-based systems— including in-person collection of cash and checks for rent payments.

This outdated approach consumed thousands of staff hours and created widespread inefficiencies. As a result, Millennium faced persistent resident dissatisfaction, including poor Yelp reviews, regulatory complaints, and recurring issues with unresponsive management, delayed maintenance, and security deposit disputes.

The Solution

In 2018, Millennium launched Henri to overhaul its operations and transform the resident experience. The platform digitized key workflows—automating rent payments, maintenance requests, and community communication.

Henri significantly reduced staff workload while offering residents a mobile-first interface to handle everything from submitting work orders to receiving community updates and paying rent online.

The shift not only improved internal efficiency, but also rebuilt trust and engagement among residents, positioning Henri as a vital tool for day-to-day operations.
